Over the course of his career, John has developed a reputation for understanding the complexities of Michigan’s No Fault system and the legal challenges that often arise between injured individuals, medical providers, and insurance companies.

Whether handling a personal injury dispute or advising on insurance related litigation, John works to ensure that clients understand their options and feel confident about the path forward.

John’s legal career spans a wide range of litigation and dispute resolution work. In addition to representing clients in personal injury and insurance matters, he previously served as a facilitation attorney with JMC Dispute Resolution in Northville, where he acted as a facilitator, mediator, and arbitrator throughout Wayne, Oakland, and Macomb counties.

That experience gave him a deeper understanding of how disputes can be resolved outside of traditional courtroom litigation. He has since applied that knowledge to help clients evaluate both litigation and resolution strategies in complex cases.

John is also recognized for his contribution to legal scholarship. In 2002 he authored the original ICLE Michigan Insurance Law and Practice No Fault section, a resource widely used by attorneys navigating Michigan’s No Fault system.

At Bashore Green Law Group, John contributes to the firm’s auto, truck, and motorcycle accident litigation, while also expanding his work in business, municipal, and personal legal matters.

John enjoys spending time with his wife and their two daughters. After years in the courtroom, family life provides a welcome balance and a reminder of the people and relationships that matter most.
