Bashore Green Law Firm names Ian Coote Partner

PONTIAC – Bashore Green Law Firm, a leading auto accident and personal injury law firm serving clients in metro Detroit and throughout the state of Michigan, has announced the promotion of Ian Coote as Partner.

Ian has been with Bashore Green since 2017 and is an experienced trial attorney who has handled matters ranging from personal injury, insurance defense, criminal defense, family law, landlord-tenant, estate planning, real estate, contract drafting, and bankruptcy.

Before joining Bashore Green, Ian was in-house counsel at Liberty Mutual for nearly three years. Previous to that he worked as an associate for southeastern Michigan based law firms, and as a partner with Rossknecht Coote for nearly three years.

Ian attended the joint degree program at the University of Detroit Mercy and the University of Windsor law schools in 2009, earning his J.D. Cum Laude from Detroit Mercy and his LL.B. Cum Laude from Windsor. He earned his bachelor's degree in English Literature from Michigan State University. Ian is a member of the Michigan State Bar, U.S. District Court Eastern District of Michigan, U.S. District Court Western District of Michigan and U.S. Bankruptcy Court Eastern District of Michigan.

Ian lives in Royal Oak with his wife and son.
