Lionel E. Bashore, a shareholder in Bashore Green Law Group, is a trial and transactional attorney with extensive experience in commercial law, specializing in real property, construction, closely held corporations and entities, small business, development and zoning, sales and acquisitions of real estate, personal property and businesses, residential real estate. More recently, Mr. Bashore expanded his practice into entertainment law. He represents major and small developers and business owners, builders, subcontractors, owners of commercial construction projects, homeowners, and entertainers. Mr. Bashore's clients rely on his aggressive style, knowledge of the law, forthright counseling and ability to achieve successful results.
Mr. Bashore is a graduate of Michigan State University (B.S., March 1991) and Detroit College of Law at Michigan State University (J.D. Cum Laude, May 1998). While in law school, Mr. Bashore earned academic honors and was the recipient of the book award in Agency and Partnership. He earned spots on both DCL's Law Review and Moot Court in the same semester and competed nationally for DCL in Moot Court. He also served on Moot Court's Executive Board and earned a scholarship teaching Moot Court Class at DCL's Detroit and East Lansing Campuses. Mr. Bashore served internships for U.S. Magistrate Virginia Morgan and the Oakland County Probate Court, and was a summer clerk for the Honorable Deborah Servitto, Macomb County Circuit Court. He also was a law clerk at the Law Offices of David E. Field, Regional Counsel for Allstate.
Mr. Bashore is a member of the State Bar of Michigan and is a member of the real property and business sections. He is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court (Eastern and Western Districts), United States Bankruptcy Court and the United States Court of Appeals for the 6th Circuit.
